I have always considered myself 'healthy', but it wasn't until somewhere in my early 30's that I truly realized the profound benefits strength training, eating 'clean', and running reveals for the body, mind, and overall health—including control over my own asthma, weight maintenance, and improved quality of life. I have been passionate about sharing my knowledge; teaching and guiding others toward healthy choices and fitness commitments since. With this in mind, I became certified with NSCA-CPT, NCEP holistic personal trainer, Insanity by Beachbody, Certificate of Specialization in Personal Training from COC, followed by an Associates Degree in Kinesiology. Additionally, my academic pursuits continue in Healthy Lifestyles and Nutrition (ASU Bachelor Program), and are supplemented with my personal experience as a runner.
I believe my personal commitment to fitness provides me with both the knowledge and empathy to train other people interested in changing their lifestyle and improving their overall health and well-being. I design personal, group, kids' groups, and family sessions based on set goals. Each workout is unique, using high and low intensity movements, with variations for all levels of fitness. I help each participant meet their individual training goals, which we outline together in your first session and review every 6-8 weeks. This, along with nutritional and workout ‘homework’, TONS of MOTIVATION along the way, and LOTS of FUN in the process will get you to your goals!
